The Issue of Blood.

The Woman With the Issue of Blood – Luke 8:43-48 Opening Thought: So it’s been quite some time since I last published a blog post, and now here I find myself at midnight, after spending the past 3 hours alone with my Bible, typing away to the thought of how I’m so thankful that Jesus never stops bleeding. His blood is always there and it’s available for all who call on His name in repentance. Oh how I’m thankful for that! Where I’m Reading: I have been working my way through Luke’s Gospel. It has literally been all I’ve been reading and studying for about 4 months now and I’m about ready to finish up chapter 8. Call me a slow reader but I’d like to think it’s “meditating on the words of Jesus” and “studying to show myself approved”.¬† I find the more time I spend with God the […]

Who’s Desire’s do You Have?

Today’s study was awesome, as some of you know I’m going through the book of Luke, love this book. I think one of the biggest things that hit me in this book so far, has been the demonstration of what the Holy Spirit does when He invades our lives. The Holy Spirits Power: So in the beginning¬† of Luke we see a couple who is visited by an angel and is told that they will have a son and that they were to name him John and that he would turn people […]

Should Temptation Really be Tempting?

Jesus was Tempted – Luke 4:2-4 Opening Thoughts: First of all I want to acknowledge brother David Wilkerson who passed away yesterday April 27, 2011 in a car accident. David Wilkerson has been one of those people that I take very serious. Both my wife Danae and I have expressed on many occasions that this is a man that scares us when he preaches, and when we say scares us we mean it seams as though you are sitting listening to one of the prophets from the Bible. He preached with such conviction it could make a drunk snap out of a drunken stupor. I loved to listen to him, and God through his preaching has impacted my life in a very big way! David Wilkerson will not be a name forgotten around our home. I was reading today in Luke 4:2-4 I’m working my way through Luke’s gospel right […]
